The Touch Pro2’s face is dominated by a large 3.2-inch touchscreen, which is beautiful, bright and crisp. Below the screen are four hardware buttons (Talk, Home, Back and End) and a touch-sensitive zooming slider. On the unit’s sides you’ll find a microSDHC card slot, a volume rocker, a power button, and HTC’s mini-USB sync/charge connector. The casing is sturdy plastic, a blend of black, browns and gold. The result is a look appropriate for both professional and more casual users.
The Pro2 is a hair thinner than last year’s Touch Pro, but larger in both height and width to accommodate its larger screen. Even with larger, heavier design, I much prefer the Pro2’s look and feel over last year’s Pro (and certainly over the Wing’s), and the larger screen more than makes up for its heft; but if you’re looking for a slim, light smartphone, keep looking.
