With the fast 3G connection or the use of the built-in Wi-Fi interface, the Motorola MILESTONE provides an extra dimension to the Internet. The reproduction of all the applications, videos and pictures, is of high quality, thanks to the high resolution screen. The 5 Megapixel shooter enables mobile photography, although we still have to do without optical zoom. Autofocus and a built-in flash with an additional electronic stabilization should keep image quality on a high level.

Think about it, Motorola have, rightly or wrongly, developed a reputation for making the RAZR. And then for not doing much else except the RAZR. They’ve never really been known for making high-end mobile phones, so they’re probably on safer ground to go after the more niche mobile phones. So, you get things like a premium metal body, a bearing in the swivelly bit made in Switzerland, and a 62-carat crystal display.
Oh, while we’re on the subject of the screen, this is where the AURA shows off its only real bit of innovation, since it’s one of the first (if not the first) mobile phones in history to have a round screen. Which is pretty cool, although it’s not quite the same as 8 megapixel cameras, or new Google operating systems, really, is it?
Basically, Motorola seem to be billing in a similar to the way Rolex promote their watches, with style and engineering over features, and the price tag of about £1250-ish reflects that.

Droid 4 specs and photos leaked

Motorola’s upcoming Droid 4 has just gotten a little more official. Thanks to newly-leaked images, we’ve got a full spec sheet and a good look at its RAZR-esque styling.
While previous images had shown off the Droid 4′s face and slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the back had yet to be revealed. As you can see now, while the chassis sports the same gently-angled corners as the RAZR, it’s not clad in the same carbon fiber-look kevlar. Rather, it’s a more mundane textured plastic on the back of the Droid 4. The camera hump is similar, though the 8MP shooter, LED flash, and speaker have been re-positioned.
As expected, the Droid 4 is also shipping with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and support for Verizon’s LTE network — just like the RAZR. It’s also dockable and ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread pre-installed, though an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich in the new year is all but certain.
A few of the Droid 4′s features differ from the RAZR. The most obvious, of course, is its edge-lit slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Droid 4 also sports a smaller display: a 4-inch qHD touchscreen as opposed to the 4.3-inch Super AMOLED unit found on the Droid RAZR. The Droid 4 also includes a battery that is ever-so-slightly more capacious: 1785mAh vs. 1780mAh. That’s not enough to make an appreciable difference, but the Droid 4 will need a little extra juice to light up those keys.
Just last week, word slipped out that the latest successor to the Droid QWERTY throne would be landing on Verizon come December 8th. Pricing has yet to be revealed, but at least now you know exactly what you’ll be getting if you pick up this bad boy in a couple weeks.

MOTOROLA MILESTONE

Motorola MILESTONE
The Internet use will considerably increase for the Motorola MILESTONE when it comes to data traffic, or at least that is what the Motorola marketing seems to imply. 3G speed and a browser with Flash support 10 in combination with an ultra-fast processor, should ensure a true multimedia festivity. The large display of the MILESTONE phone features 400,000 pixels, vastly improving reproduction. All we need now is a smart innovation to be able to also use this display in bright sunlight, which would make us completely happy.

Motorola AURA – the new hope for Moto mobile phones?

News has come through of Motorola’s first attempt to reinvigorate their brand, as they try to stop themselves from going completely and utterly bankrupt, defunct and devoid of life, and according to Engadget Mobile, the way they hope to do it is not by releasing a top-end, feature-packed mobile phone, but a phone that costs roughly £1250 and isn’t very powerful…
However, I will concede something: the Motorola AURA does actually look quite stunning.
Clearly Motorola aren’t going for the high-end market with the AURA, but for those people who buy premium mobile phones, who care more about premium materials and design. In other words, the Nokia 8800 Arte crowd. Now, it’s quite easy to mock, but… well, I can actually see some sense in that, you know.

Even if it is just a flashy Motorola V70…

Motorola Pax BlackBerry killer

Yes, BlackBerry-killer is always a little dubious label, because just because a device has a keyboard or the same form factor such as a BlackBerry, does not replace nor long it it. When I talk about BlackBerry form factor but, know everyone just what meant is.

Under the Domino +, it should be here so the Motorola Pax go what exactly has this typical BlackBerry form factor. The device will be probably to have Sprint in the US system operator and to be powered by a dual-core processor.

There is no more information unfortunately still and as is so often is so far completely unclear whether Motorola will sometimes bring at least this Smartphone of kind of to Europe. The last model with similar form factor, which you can buy in this country, is the Motorola Pro.

Motorola's Droid 3

The Droid 3, available now from Verizon Wireless, is the third phone to follow in the footsteps of Motorola's original Droid device. That first Droid set the standard for today's army of Android phones, and -- with the aid of its memorable marketing campaign -- helped turned "Android" into a household word.

The Droid 3 has a 4-inch, 960 x 540 LCD screen -- noticeably larger than the 3.7-inch, 854 x 480 displays on the previous Droid devices. The display is crisp and brilliant, with rich colors and true-to-life representation. While I might give a slight edge to Samsung's Super AMOLED Plus technology, I have no qualms about the quality of the Droid 3's screen, and I suspect most users won't, either.
The face of the Droid 3 slides sideways to reveal a newly designed five-row QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard, which features a top row dedicated exclusively to numbers, is a pleasure to type on: The keys are nicely spaced out and have a soft, rubber-like feel, and the sliding keyboard mechanism has a satisfying snap that sturdily holds the panel in position. If you like using a physical keyboard on your phone, you won't be disappointed.
Motorola's Droid 3 has a more rounded and less angular look than the Droid and Droid 2 before it. A power button is centered along the phone's top edge, with a headphone jack at the right; a charging port and HDMI port sit along the phone's left side, and a volume rocker lives on the right-hand side of the device. There's also an LED indicator on the phone's face that flashes to alert you of missed calls or new messages -- a nice touch absent in many other current devices.

Motorola Blackflip

The Motorola Backflip is surely a class phone of its own and is surely a jewel that uses imagination purely to bring out a real innovation in usage and style.
A powerful, handsome and fast handset that has a manual keyboard and a great screen with only 15.3 millimeters thickness. Wondering how it can be? Answer is simple; they put the manual keyboard on the back side of the reverse flip. It opens like a book with the keyboard on the back being exposed at all times. Being exposed all times is a boon or evil will come to know once it runs through the market? The keys on the keyboard have good tactile feedback and seem to have been made strong.
Most of the touch screens are making it to the 3.1 inch and this Motorola Backflip phone is no exception. It has a capacitive touch screen that comes in at 3.1 inches. The physical resolution of the display is 320 by 480 and has a TFT LCD style that might surely eat up the battery life a bit quicker. The Backflip alters from portrait to landscape using the built in accelerometer automatically. This is handy for texting and for viewing web pages.
The camera is a five megapixel model with LED flash, autofocus, retagging and video. The Backflip can record at 25 frames per second in the MP4 ( MPEG-4 ) format. This is nothing to write home about, but is acceptable. For audio you get stereo speakers and a 3.5 millimeter head phone jack.
The Google android operating system works awesome on this Motorola Backflip. It can do just about any social networking job you ask it. It has many applications ( apps ) that can track your friends, get you special prices and a host of other jobs. When you think about the fact that apps on an android phone are free, you can see the appeal that this phone has over Apple products, where you have to pay a fee to download most of them. If you ever lose your Backflip, you can delete ( called “wiping” ) the contents of the Smartphone from a distance. This especially comes in handy if your Backflip is stolen. Your credit card information is still secure. The android system is represented by the special user interface called “Motoblur” that improves the looks of things over a generic android installation.
For data network connections, you have all the goodies, including WLAN ( Wi-Fi ), Bluetooth, a web browser ( Webkit ) and a MicroUSB port. You also have a memory card slot that can support memory capability by up to 32 gigabytes via the MicroSD card slot. That’s more than anything for any normal use.
The mode of navigation for the screen on the Backflip is the back of the touch screen. You open the unit, and apply your finger behind the screen and access menu or other things. This is called “Backtrack” by Motorola, which sounds smart! Yeah. It takes your finger out of the way of the screen so you can see it all without your finger blocking anything.
Overall, this Motorolola Smartphone is a real challenge to many Smartphones in the techno market. Is tiny but still can do wonder and sit pretty inside your pocket.

Motorola CLIQ

Motorola CLIQ is the newest Android phone. It is made by Motorola and will be available on the T-Mobile network. Some of the key features include 3G/HSDPA connectivity, 5MP camera, and of course GPS receiver. It just wouldn’t be complete without the GPS – so you can Google Maps, Street View and bunch of location aware apps from the Android market place.

Motorola CLIQ will come with a 3.1″ screen, have a 1420mAh battery, WiFi, and bluetooth. A few other nice specs include the accelerometer and proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and the microSD card support up to 32GB.

Did we mention it has a Qwerty keyboard? That’s a must for a lot of people. And it has a glass screen – much better than most other Android phones.
