Blackberry Storm 9530

The Blackberry Storm 9530 is the first full touch screen phone from Blackberry, and the predecessor of the Storm2 9550. This model is pretty similar to its descendant in terms of features with just some variations in memory capacity, weight and the exclusion of WiFi connectivity.
The Storm 9530 has built-in 128MB memory and comes 1 GB memory card. Storage capacity can also be expanded through its microSD slot.
This smartphone weighs a bit lighter at 155 grams.

When it comes to technology, the new Blackberry Storm 9530 makes a great impression. The display used on this handset is a TFT one and has a native resolution of 240 x 260 pixels. It supports 65K colors, and even if it seems to be a bit mediocre for a smart phone, this display offers good quality images and it is great for surfing the internet. There can be a problem if you use the phone under direct sunlight. Being covered in a glossy surface, the display will not very visible. On the back side, the Pearl comes with a 1.3 Megapixel camera capable of taking photos at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. Even if it is armed with LED flash and 6x-zoom, the photos will have a poor quality but still enough for you to catch satisfactory memories. For storing all your files, photos, songs or clips, the Pearl 8100 comes with 64MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot which allows you to extend the memory up to 4 GB.

For connectivity, the BlackBerry pearl 8100 has poor performances. It comes with Bluetooth, miniUSB and support for GSM, GPRS and EDGE. Even if it lacks Wi-Fi, 3G or GPS, it is capable to keep you in touch with your friends anytime. The battery life is satisfactory as well. The Li-Ion 900 mAh battery is capable of keeping it alive for almost 4 hours of conversations and up to 360 hours in standby mode.

BlackBerry Storm3 Could Debut this Summer

New information has emerged on the BlackBerry Storm3, the next generation of RIM's touchscreen-only smartphones for business users. Previous reports have indicated that this model will be released later in the year, but a new leak gets more specific.
This device will be the follow-up to the original Storm, which debuted in 2008. Its successor came a year later, but when the Storm3 didn't arrive by the end of 2010, some had begun to wonder if RIM had abandoned this form factor. Especially after the company announced that the Storm2 won't get an upgrade to BlackBerry OS 6.0.
Nevertheless, the company is still committed to this product series, if a roadmap of upcoming BlackBerry models that has leaked out is legitimate. According to it, the Storm3 is set to be released at some point in the July to August time period.
Which carriers will be offering this smartphone is not yet known, but the only U.S. carrier to offer the earlier Storm models is Verizon.
Preliminary Overview of the BlackBerry Storm3The next-generation Storm will reportedly have a larger, higher-resolution touchscreen than its predecessors: 3.7-inch, 800 x 480 pixels. An optical touchpad also appears in the images of this smartphone.
According to the specifications that have leaked out, it will run BlackBerry OS 6.1 on a 1.2 GHz processor.
There are conflicting reports on its amount of RAM and storage capacity, though. One says it will include 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of storage, while another says 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage.
The Storm3 will supposedly be a worldphone with support for CDMA and GSM networks, including 3G. In addition, it will have Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, and a GPS receiver.
Other features will include a microSD memory card slot as well as a 5 megapixel camera with Flash and 720p video recording.
The BlackBerry Storm3 reportedly has the code-name 'Monaco'.
A Drive Toward TouchscreensThis model is just one of several upcoming BlackBerrys with touchscreens that have recently appeared in unconfirmed reports.
RIM us supposedly working on the BlackBerry Curve Touch, a consumer-oriented model that will be smaller than the Storm3 but have the same general design. This could be the first Curve model to forgo a physical keyboard.

BlackBerry Tour announced by Sprint, too: $199.99 later this summer

New BlackBerry models are few and far between -- particularly of the CDMA variety -- so when one is announced, the usual carrier suspects typically fall in line within a few weeks of each other and announce their branded versions in rapid succession. This one was particularly tight, though: Sprint has announced its plans for carrying the Tour 9630 just minutes after Verizon. It'll launch "later this summer" for $199.99 after $150 worth of rebates and a two-year contract, which makes the Pre comparison virtually inevitable. Keep the comments civil, though, alright?

iPhone May Overtake the Blackberry Market Share in 2011

In the last few years, the  iPhone and Blackberry market has risen significantly. However, recently, Apple has been leading RIM in their market.  It’s possible by 2011 that Apple will overtake Rim in the market totaly. Of all the mobile phones out there, Apple and RIM account for 50% of the phones. Some of the the reasons that iPhones may overtake the Blackberry market are: People find the  iPhone more attractive because of  Apple’s ecosystem of products and services; With the end of AT&T exclusivity with the iPhone, there will be more people getting the phone.

RIM Pearl 8100

Canadian BlackBerry mobile phone manufacturer RIM is reportedly creating a super secret rival to the Apple iPhone, and it has been codenamed “AK” as in “Apple Killer.” The BlackBerry 9000 made a few waves with being delayed, and certain rumours had the BlackBerry 9000 handset sporting a touch-screen has now disappeared.

However this doesn’t mean RIM has given up on producing their own touch-screen version to compete in the smartphone/touch-screen markets, and Independent software developers are saying RIM has the “AK” under development.
So could the next generation BlackBerry 9100 become the BlackBerry “AK?” We will eventually find out undoubtedly, but one thing is for sure, RIM will be launching some type of touch-screen device in the near future. Touch-screens are the latest “in thing” everyone wants one, but RIM needs to remember what LG is already aware of, the UI is really the deal maker or breaker.

Obviously Apple has the leading iPhone UI, however RIM could just come to the market offering enterprising integration along with high specification hardware, and if they can then the Apple iPhone could see some serious competition.

The theme also includes the ability for your visitors to easily switch between the WPtouch view and your site’s regular theme.

BlackBerry 9650

BlackBerry 9650 should actually be seen as an upgrade version of 9630, but the current exposure parameters of the message point of view, the only difference with the 9630 to be replaced by optical trackball panel.

BlackBerry 9650will be customized by Sprint which will support CDMA / GSM / GPRS / EDGE / UMTS / HSDPA network, is a candybar QWERTY full keyboard phone, the screen resolution of 480 * 360, the continued touch panel replacement trackball practice, while at least 3.2 million pixel built-in camera may be equipped with flash.

BlackBerry 9650 will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 technology, 256MB of memory and support the body micro SDHC expansion up to 16GB. It will carry 5.0.0.385 version of the operating system.
